1. Data controller
The data controller is GAME Lv-UP, an independent studio established in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire. For any question about your data or to exercise your rights, contact gamelvup.officiel@gmail.com.
2. Data that may be processed
Depending on the features used, data may include:
- account information: username, email address and profile information supplied by the user;
- content data: messages, reviews, preferences or profile items published by the user;
- technical data: device model, operating system version, application version, technical logs and information required for security and diagnostics;
- purchase data: information required to process and verify a purchase, without GAME Lv-UP storing full bank-card details when payment is handled by a specialist provider.
The categories actually collected depend on the features enabled in the relevant application version and must match the declarations made in Google Play Console.
3. Purposes
- create and manage an account;
- provide Lv-UP STORE and community features;
- maintain security, prevent abuse and resolve incidents;
- improve stability and performance;
- process purchases and provide premium features;
- comply with applicable legal obligations.
4. Basis and principles of processing
Depending on its purpose, processing is based on performance of the requested service, consent where required, a legal obligation or a legitimate interest compatible with individual rights. The principles of lawfulness, fairness, transparency, confidentiality and data protection are applied in accordance with Ivorian Law No. 2013-450 of June 19, 2013 on the protection of personal data.
5. Providers and third-party services
The application may use technical providers, including authentication, database, storage, payment, measurement or distribution services. Services actually used must be declared in the published version and in the Google Play Data safety section where applicable.
For example, the project architecture may use Firebase for certain technical services and RevenueCat to manage subscriptions or purchases. No provider should be considered to be in use unless it is actually integrated into the relevant version.
6. Payments
When a purchase is offered, payment may be processed by Google Play or another authorised provider. GAME Lv-UP does not ask users to provide full bank-card details directly in the application when payment is handled by the payment platform.
7. Security
Reasonable technical and organisational measures are implemented to protect data against unauthorised access, loss, alteration or disclosure. Data transmitted between the application, website and compatible services is protected by encryption in transit such as TLS/HTTPS where available. Absolute security cannot, however, be guaranteed.
8. Retention
Data is retained for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it is processed, then deleted or anonymised when retention is no longer justified. Some data may be retained longer where required by a legal obligation, security needs, dispute resolution or fraud prevention.
9. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to your data, rectification or deletion and, where processing is based on consent, withdraw that consent. You may also request information about processing activities concerning you.
To exercise your rights, contact gamelvup.officiel@gmail.com. You can request deletion of certain data without deleting your account through the personal data deletion procedure, or request full deletion of your account and associated data through the account deletion procedure.
10. Account and data deletion
Two procedures are available. A user can request deletion of certain eligible personal data without deleting their account, or request deletion of their Lv-UP STORE account and associated data. Requests are available through dedicated web resources and processed at gamelvup.officiel@gmail.com.
When an account is deleted at the user's request, GAME Lv-UP deletes associated data that does not need to be retained for a legitimate reason. Some data may be retained where required by law, security, fraud prevention or dispute resolution. Requests to delete data without deleting the account do not sign the user out.
11. Cookies, local storage and measurement
The showcase website does not require measurement cookies to function. It may use browser local storage to remember a display or consent choice. Embedded third-party content, such as a YouTube video, may set its own trackers when activated. Where technically possible, integrations are loaded after user action.
12. Children
The services are not designed to circumvent applicable age rules. Users must comply with the age and usage requirements of the distribution platforms.
13. Changes
This policy may change to reflect changes in features, providers or regulations. The update date displayed at the top of the page indicates the currently published version.
14. Regulatory references
This policy takes into account, in particular, Ivorian Law No. 2013-450 of June 19, 2013 on the protection of personal data and applicable Google Play requirements. It does not constitute individual legal advice.
